Melanie Ewbank is a ghostwriter for a web series and a playwright who has been produced throughout the United States. Several of her one-act plays have toured both youth and adult detention centers throughout Southern California. Ms. Ewbank lives in the cool mountains of North Central Arizona with her husband and daughter. Sylvia Itzel Ximi works as a graphic designer whose passion is adding unique and vibrant colors to people's lives. Ella's Trip of a Lifetime is Sylvia's first illustrated book, and she is delighted to have played a part in its creation.
Melanie Ewbank, the author of Ella's Trip of a Lifetime, was three years old when she had a near-death experience nearly drowning in a pool. This book is based on that life-changing event. We don't get to hear or read of these events occurring to one so young, nor do we have the benefit of an excellent author expressing these experiences in an awesome book for children.
