Victor Kloss was born in 1980 and lived his first five years in London, before moving to a small town in West Sussex. By day he built websites, by night he wrote (or tried to). His love for Children's Fantasy stemmed from Enid Blyton, Tolkien, and JK Rowling. His hobbies included football, golf, reading and taking walks with his wife and daughter. Victor passed away on 5 November 2016 after fighting a losing battle against an aggressive form of lymphoma. Praise for the Royal Institute of Magic series: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cross between Harry Potter and Percy Jackson in that the characters are always on the move at a sort of breathless pace. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You don't have to be a magical creature to use magic. Cool. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful Read! Not just for kids, adults will enjoy it just as much! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great sense of adventure, the story line never lagged, and his characters are well defined. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's kind of like a steam-punk version of magic... ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Original with diverse characters and enough action and mystery to entertain teens to adults. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is honestly one of the few books that I have enjoyed as much as Harry Potter.
