He holds a degree in jazz performance and education from Hochschule Osnabrück and Berklee College of Music and has been recording audio for most of his life – or 20 years to be precise. As a sound designer, he is currently working on indie and “AA” games while still finding time to pursue a degree in sound design, create sound effects libraries and sample packs, and contribute to global SFX crowdsourcing projects. He always strives to be a helpful voice in the global game audio community through blog posts, mentorship, resource sharing, outreach, and by contributing to this very book. Chris helps run the Game Audio Boston networking group and is part of the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.).
