Don't Drive Like This helps both new and experienced drivers recognize, reduce, and avoid aggressive and distracted driving. It's not a driver manual. It's a companion to content and methods you already use. Or it's a gift for those who need a friendly ""reminder"" (ahem) to reduce aggressive driving.

In this paperback, the always-angry (and unsafe) Ashford and Ashley show us what NOT to do when it comes to aggressive, distracted, and impaired driving. The content tackles tough issues with a wink, a laugh, and a whole lot of learning science.

It isn't a curriculum. Instead, DDLT supplements existing formal materials and methods.

By engaging visually, with humor, and challenging conversation prompts, we learn safer & calmer driving habits. Inside this volume you'll find:

- 43 original, story-rich illustrations and humorous limericks

- Hundreds of conversation prompts to spark discussion & critical thinking

- Explorations of aggressive driving root causes & avoidance techniques

This collection is designed to:

- Boost retention: Visuals & conversation prompts to better ingrain good habits

- Reach all learners:

Support visual, social, and reflective learning styles

- Inspire change: Provoke discussion and action that makes people think-and act

Fostering connection is key: Parent-driver student conversations, student peer discussions, and instructor-led discussions create engagement and improve retention.

Stories teach:

Students love real-world stories. The story-based illustrations offer engaging opportunities for learning and retention. Use visual stories to energize and captivate.

Perfect for driver education classrooms, family discussions, or individual reflection. Don't Drive Like This creates lasting experiences one lesson and one laugh at a time.

Reviews for Don't Drive Like This: Reduce aggressive driving with humor, story-rich visuals, and discussion prompts

""The visual, conversational, and humorous learning styles in these materials support the instruction I'm already doing. They provide new approaches to help my students: New drivers in-car and in-classroom; Experienced drivers in points reduction classes; and Individuals who struggle in traditional classrooms. As a driver education instructor with 20+ years of experience, I appreciate the time and effort invested in this project. Sonya Friar, 1st Gear Driving School, New Hampshire
