"This biography of Don Milne seeks to inform and challenge you to expect triumph out of tragedy, hope during hopelessness and faith to arise where failure and fear lurk. The message highlights the power of expectant prayer and the value of genuine and warm friendship to provide deep meaning and encouragement, especially to those who live on the 'edge' in terms of health, isolation, and other life challenges. Throughout, the message is offered that in our extremities there always exist possibilities for God to bless us. Don's life was for the most part lived in close relationship with God, and he had a unique capacity to have faith in God in the most difficult and trying of situations, whether they were personal to him or part of his extensive prayer ministry for others. The message focusses on Don's healing prayer ministry. The subtitle ""a most extraordinary man"" is how the celebrated U.S. Christian healer and author Agnes Sanford described Don in her book, ""Sealed Orders"". This was after he successfully prayed to God for the healing of her impacted wisdom teeth. The story is written by one whose life was transformed through his encounters with Don and his wife Helen beginning late 1974."
