Dr. Sofia Din is a board-certified family medical doctor who has been practicing Primary care, Geriatrics and Anti-aging in Yonkers, New York for the past 15 years. She owns and manages two medical practices, a primary care office that accepts health insurances and a wellness center which provides anti-aging services to all clients. Since anti-aging and aesthetic treatments are not covered under health insurance, clients usually pay for these treatments out of pocket. She also served as a medical director of a 200-bed Nursing Home and Rehab center in Scarsdale, New York for 6 years. Hagar's Foundation is her new non-profit start up to help improve the lives of single mothers by assisting them in obtaining employment while maintaining health and wellness. She has written and compiled this book as a source of revenue for the foundation's ongoing and future work. She is a single mom herself and an immigrant from Pakistan who has not only established herself despite challenges but also inspires and motivates women to become a better version of themselves. She has a 20 year old daughter and her hobbies include snorkeling and painting.

Reviews for Do we really need Botox?: A handbook of Anti-Aging Services

"""In her book, Do we really need Botox? (A Handbook of Anti-Aging Services), Dr. Sofia R. Din does much more than giving the essential facts and details about Botox. She walks the reader through her personal and intellectual journey as a board certified doctor behind this invaluable work which redefines and expands the concepts of wellness and health. The nobility of her motives, which focuses on single mothers' wellbeing, are driven by her past personal struggles as a single mother, who suffered from low self-esteem as a teenager because of aesthetics. The message that emerges on every page is that everyone has the power to improve their beauty, as the author did, which is a true medical component in one's overall health and wellbeing. A must read for those who strive for the most productive lives they can live."" --Costantino Fragale, Esq. ""Exciting new book to help women in their journey to find their inner beauty. While understanding the products and procedures out there to help. It doesn't get more real than this! A Must Read for a variety of reasons."" --Sophia Chaudhry, M.D. ""I am the beneficiary and result of a diligent, over-burdened and hard-working single mother. That is why this book not only hit home but profoundly moved me. It is an honest depiction of the serious struggle single mothers face as well as a powerful guideline and advocate for our combatant mothers. I am thankful for women like my Dr. Din and my mom who amid adversity not only excel but give back to ensure others succeed as well."" --Arthur Wabunoha"
