"" Godly Riches For Godly Vision

"" For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. "" Habakkuk 2:3

God gives his children godly riches because of a godly vision that has to be accomplished. The Lord has a mission for us in his kingdom, and most at times this mission depends so much on money. That is the more reason God gives his children these godly riches so that God can use them to accomplish a mission of a godly vision. There are so many visions, dreams and purposes of God for his beloved children to accomplish, and that is the reason why godly riches are necessary.

For instance God had a vision for Abraham to be a father of many nations; that is to say he will be a blessing to so many people, tongues and tribes so God had to enrich him for that purpose. "" And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. "" Genesis 12: 2-3

The vision is for Abraham to be a blessing for all the families of the earth, so God blessed him to that effect. So godly riches are usually meant for the purpose of accomplishing a godly vision. There are some that God will enrich so that they will build God's church, promote the kingdom of God with their money, others are specially enriched by God so they can give generously to ministers of the gospel, so that God's work will spread far and abroad.

The following portion of scripture explains how godly riches are meant to promote godly vision. "" Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgiving unto God. Whilst by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men ."" 2 Corinthians 9: 11 -13 The kingdom of God needs money for its expansion, promotion and propagation of the gospel of Christ. ""
