Dr. Papiya Debnath completed a Masters of Science in Applied Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur in 2006. She received an M.Phil degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Calcutta, India in 2009 and PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Calcutta in2019. Presently Dr. Debnath is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Science and Humanities (Mathematics), at Techno International New Town (under Techno India Group), Kolkata, India. She has almost 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and administration. She has published more than 25 papers in national and international journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Debnath is also serving as a Guest Editor of the journal WSEAS Transactions on Mathematics (SCOPUS Indexed). Dr. Debnath has chaired different international conferences in India. Her research interest lies in Mathematical Modeling and Simulation, Mathematical Computing, Earthquake Prediction, ML, and Data Science. She is active in reviewing Open Mathematics (SCIE, SCOPUS Indexed), Geomate (SCOPUS Indexed), Circuit World (SCOPUS Indexed), and many other national/international journals. Recently she is actively engaged with a few IEEE conferences in IEEE R10 regions. Dr. Biswajit Sarkar is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Yonsei University, South Korea. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Applied Mathematics in 2002 and 2004, respectively from Jadavpur University, India. He received his Master of Philosophy in the application of Boolean Polynomials from Annamalai University, India in 2008, his Doctor of Philosophy from Jadavpur University, India in 2010 in Operations Research, and his Post-Doctorate from the Pusan National University, South Korea (2012–2013). He has dedicated his teaching and research abilities to various universities including Hanyang University, South Korea (2014–2019), Vidyasagar University, India (2010–2014), and Darjeeling Government College, India (2009–2010). He worked as a Visiting Researcher in Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico in 2018. He has received 11 research projects. Between them, two projects are ongoing, and the rest have been completed. Under his supervision, 16 students have been awarded their PhDs and three students have been awarded their master’s. Five students are continuing their PhD under his supervision. Under his guidance, four PhD theses have received the best theses award from Hanyang University, South Korea during 2018–2019. Since 2010, he has published 180 journal articles in reputed journals of Applied Mathematics and Industrial Engineering, and he has published three books. According to the SciVal 2020, Prof. Sarkar was the best active author in the topic cluster of the Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management, Industry during 2017–2020. According to SCOPUS, Prof. Sarkar is also the best active author in the sub-topic cluster in the field of Vendor Managed Inventory, Integrated Inventory Model, and Consignment Stock. According to Google Scholar, his total citation is 4788 and his h-index is 41. He is the editorial board member of some reputed international journals of Applied Mathematics and Industrial Engineering. He is the Topic Editor of the SCIE-indexed journal Energies. He has served as the Guest Editor of five special issues of some SCIE-indexed journals. He is a member of several learned societies such as the Korean Society of Industrial Engineering, the Calcutta Mathematical Society, and many more. In 2014, his paper was selected as the best research paper in an international conference in South Korea. He has presented several research papers at international conferences as an Invited Speaker and chaired several sessions at several international conferences. He received a bronze medal for his capstone achievement from Hanyang University in 2016. He is the recipient of the Bharat Vikash Award as a young scientist from India in 2016. He received an International award from the Korean Institute of Industrial Engineers in 2017 at KAIST, Daejeon, South Korea. He is the recipient of the Hanyang University Academic Award as one of the most productive researchers in 2017 and 2018 consecutively. He has received the Top 100 International Distinguished Researchers 2020, Top 50 International Distinguished Young Researchers 2020, and Top 100 International Distinguished Educators 2020 from India in 2020. Dr. Manash Chanda graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Kalyani Govt. Engineering College in 2005. He obtained his M.Tech degree in VLSI and Microelectronics from Jadavpur University. He completed his PhD in Engineering from ETCE Dept., Jadavpur University in 2018. At present; he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of ECE, Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology since February 2006. He is a Member of IEEE and is currently a Member of the IEEE Electron Device Society and Solid State Circuit Society. Dr. Chanda is a co-founder of the IEEE Student Branch and ED MSIT Student Branch Chapter. At present, he is the Chapter Advisor of the ED Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology Student Branch Chapter. Also, he is the Vice-Chairman of the ED Kolkata Chapter. He served as the Secretary of IEEE ED MSIT SBC from January 2018 to December 2019. His current research interest spans around the study of analytical modeling of sub-100-nm MOSFETs and nanodevices considering quantum mechanical effects, low power VLSI designs, SPICE modeling of nano-scale devices, memory designs, etc. He has published more than 75 papers in refereed international journals of reputed publishers and IEEE conferences. He is the reviewer of many reputed international journals and conferences. He is the recipient of a University Gold medal in M.Tech from Jadavpur University in 2008. One of his projects was selected in the Top 10 VLSI project design category (including B. Tech and M.Tech) all over India, organized by Cadence Design Contest, Bangalore, India in 2010.
