Reviews for Diagnostic Molecular Biology

“…provides a comprehensive overview of the updated information on current advances in molecular biology…. [with] illustrations which enable easy understanding of the complex subject. The purpose of the second edition of this book is to help health professionals accurately identify the cause of diseases and to provide students with insights into key advances in the field of molecular diagnosis…. The book provides detailed coverage on the principles and applications of sequencing techniques, current molecular techniques in identifying diseases, and covers the function of molecular cytogenetic diagnosis in chromosomal disorders and the molecular diagnosis of genetic diseases…. [and] has several high-quality colored illustrations which facilitate a clearer comprehension of a complex subject matter…. [U]nique as it very nicely covers the recent advances in the detection of respiratory syncytial virus infections including SARS-CoV-2 which caused the COVID-19 pandemic.” --©Doody’s Review Service, 2024, Omer Iqbal, MD, FACC, FESC (Loyola University Medical Center)
