"""When you read Deeps Where the Elephant May Swim, you really have two options before you: devour it all at once or, as they say in response to 'how do you eat an elephant?', one bite at a time. Use it for a study guide or daily devotional."" --Paul Siaki, Anglican priest, Diocese of Johannesburg ""This is a very fine book and one which I commend to all, whether Christian or not. It is very rich in its scriptural insights but goes well beyond 'head-knowledge' by challenging its readers to work out in their lives the lessons of each chapter."" --Peter Harris, author of The Rage Against the Light: Why Christopher Hitchens Was Wrong"
