Hic liber systematica ratione exponit naturam beneficiorum, eorum constitutionem, collationem, et administrationem intra Ecclesiam Catholicam. Pistocchi, peritus iurisperitus, analysim praebet subtilem de iuribus et obligationibus clericorum qui beneficia possident, necnon de regulis quae ad eorum extinctionem vel unionem spectant. Hoc volumen est instrumentum fundamentale pro studiosis iuris canonici, presbyteris, et administratoribus ecclesiasticis qui desiderant penitus intellegere structuram legalem et historicam beneficiorum in traditione latina.
