This edited version was prepared as a tribute to the original work (1962) by Reg Lang, which is now no longer available in print.

Drawing from the Bible and revelations of Emanuel Swedenborg, you will be guided by daily messages from The Living Word. On the journey you will discover some of the forgotten ancient sacred wisdom that provides the key to understanding the Sacred Scriptures and undoubtedly at the same time strengthen your faith and personal connection with the Divine: our Lord Jesus Christ!

To this end the editor has taken the liberty to recreate and update this marvelous book to ensure it is made available once more and able to be properly catalogued and preserved for future generations.

A few minor changes have been made for this edition: some of the formatting change was needed to make publication easier, some of the older language has been updated to be a little more contemporary and easier to read for the modern mind and those less familiar with English, and the appendix of references has been omitted.

Also added are a couple of brief chapters that may help introduce the reader to study the scriptures more spiritually.
