Shaoxu Du is a Ph.D. candidate at the Centre for Instructional Technology and Multimedia, Universiti Sains Malaysia. His research interests include virtual reality, augmented reality, human-computer interaction, and cultural creativity. Mageswaran Sanmugam acquired his B.Sc. (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Tun Hussein Onn in 2005 and Master’s degree in Educational Management in 2012 from Universiti Utara Malaysia and Ph. D in Educational Technology in 2017 from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He worked as an Educator in both Primary and Secondary schools from 2008-2018, before being appointed as a Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Instructional Technology and Multimedia, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia (from 2018- till 2021). Currently he is the Deputy Director of Research, Innovation and Networking in the Centre for Instructional Technology and Multimedia, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia (from 2022- till now). His research interests encompass educational technology, ludology, game-based learning, gamification and game theory. He also serves as an exco-member in the Malaysian Educational Technology Association (META), and as a Senior Member under the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Nurul Maziah Mohd Barkhaya acquired her B.IT. (Hons) in Software Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu in 2011 and Master’s Degree in Education (TVET) in 2013 from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia and Ph.D in Educational Technology in 2023 from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She worked as an educator in International Secondary schools from 2019 – 2023, before being appointed as a Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Instructional Technology and Multimedia, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia started on 2024. Her research interests include the educational technology, creative multimedia, and e-Learning. Chuang Chen is an Associate Professor at Zhengzhou University of Industrial Technology. He is also a Ph.D. graduate from the Centre for Instructional Technology and Multimedia, Universiti Sains Malaysia. His research focuses on virtual reality, augmented reality and instructional technology Jia Wang obtained her Master’s degree in Art Design from Peking University in 2014. She worked as a lecturer specializing in Digital Media at Nanyang Normal University, Henan, China, from 2016 to 2023. During this time, she published over ten academic papers on art education and research, guided students to win more than 30 awards in competitions, and received over ten awards in professional competitions herself. In 2023, she was awarded the Chinese Government Scholarship and began pursuing her Ph.D. in Cultural and Arts Management at Chung-Ang University, South Korea. Her research interests include art education, digital media, and cultural management.
