Kate Eastwood was taught to knit as a child, by her mother, but seven years ago she decided to teach herself how to crochet. Since then she has shared her love of all things crochet on her blog, justpootling.blogspot.co.uk. This is her first book, but Kate has also designed projects for lovecrochet.com and Simply Crochet magazine. Kate lives near Bath with her husband and their two Weimeraners.
'From the moment you delve into this joyous book Kate opens you up to the endless possibilities of what you can do with small amounts of wool and an innocent little hook. – Anthea Turner To say that the book includes 35 patterns is a bit of an undersell though. Every pattern for a gorgeous wreath or innovative garland includes so many individual components that there's nothing stopping you mixing and matching motifs to create your own family heirlooms. – Crochet Now 'I like to see wreaths on front doors around Christmas, but the designs in Kate Eastwood's Crocheted Wreaths and Garlands make me want one on my house all year round.' – Yarnsub
