The word crip was once used to discriminate. Today, it is reclaimed and celebrated.

Contributors include Irina Frolova, Sharleigh Crittenden, Sandra Collins, Angela Costi, Hannah Hall, Carly Findlay, Julie Dickson, Marina Sano, Mario Licn Cabrera, Kerri Shying, TextaQueen, CB Mako, Hem Sid Chandran, Ari Spanos, Franklyn Hudson, Skye Cusack, Carly-Jay Metcalfe, Judith Huang, Ariel Riveros, Akii Ngo, Arty Owens, Ethan Patrick, Paris Rosemont, Katie Hansord, Sam Hamad, Pat Gia Han Bui, Ann Nguyen, BS Windon, Misbah Wolf, Priya Gore Johnson, Mona Zahra Attamimi, Rosie Putland, Jenny Hedley, J Marahuyo, Laura Pettenuzzo, Joey Harper.

'Weaving together audacious truth-telling, tender lyricism, startling humour and uncategorisable wildness, Crip Stories leaves all the stale tropes about disability and neurodivergence far behind in the dust. These stories create a myriad of alluring desire lines for us all to follow, and artful, handcrafted bowers in which to find rest along the way. A spacious resource for now and for the future.'

Andy Jackson

'Crip Stories is the perfect kaleidoscope of human experience, shimmering and illuminating; it is an absolute gift to read.'

Fiona Murphy

'Refreshing takes from the criptastic community I know and love. Crip Stories welcomes the reader into a shared divergent consciousness. Radical, radiant and raring to rip the mould to shreds. Far more real than condescending disability trauma porn, this collection embraces and eviscerates, rebuilding perspective outside the pervasive ableist lens.'
