Faust-Scalisis Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind Comicstudien und -aktivismus, zivilgesellschaftlicher Aktivismus, Minderheiten, Queer Studies und -aktivismus sowie Intersektionalität mit Arbeiten zu Europa, Amerika und darüber hinaus. Aleo Susan Arndt ist Professorin für britische und afrikanische Literaturen an der Universität Bayreuth und Sprecherin des Promotionskollegs für Intersektionalitätsstudien.
