Aoife M. Lynam is Assistant Professor in Psychology of Education, Trinity College Dublin. Aoife has received the Trinity Gold Medal (2009), a Trinity College Dublin (TCD) Faculty Scholarship (2012-15), and an Irish Research Council for the Humanities and the Social Sciences Scholarship (2013-2015). Her Ph.D research explored the experiences of bereaved young people in Irish primary and post-primary schools. Aoife lectures in Psychology of Education and Social, Personal, and Health Education (SPHE) and has supervised pre-service teachers on school placement and for their research dissertations at Masters and Doctoral level. Aoife is an Advisory Board Member of the Irish Childhood Bereavement Network (ICBN), part of the Management Board for Trinity Research in Childhood Centre (TRiCC), and a Board Director on the Vision Ireland Services Board. Aoife has published and presented her research both nationally and internationally.
