Dr Denise Tiran has once again written a must have book for health professional's wishing to safely integrate complementary therapies within post dates midwifery care. -- Claire Mayhead, Midwife and owner of Serenity Birth Therapies An essential read, not only for midwives and clinicians but for parents navigating through their pregnancy with hopes and plans for birth. Denise Tiran clearly narrates the pressure women face in relation to post dates pregnancy and challenges what has become normal practice. This book promotes reflection and discussion whilst also welcoming options and benefits of complementary therapies to enable choice and a less medicalised approach. With this book, we as professionals can return to being 'with women' to empower and enabling choice to protect normal birth and positive birth experiences. -- Nicola Rai, nurse and midwife
