Community empowerment has emerged as a vital tool for achieving inclusive and sustainable development in the face of complex economic and environmental challenges. By strengthening governance and fostering social innovation, communities can move from passive recipients of policy to activating change. While many regions struggle with poverty, inequality, and environmental degradation, community-based initiatives often emerge as powerful responses that leverage indigenous knowledge, participatory governance, and resource circularity. These bottom-up innovations not only address local needs but also align with global goals such as sustainable development goals and climate action. Community Empowerment Through Governance, Circular Economy, and Social Innovation explores different approaches to strengthen local communities through inclusive governance models. It examines community empowerment and the transition toward circular and inclusive local economies. Covering topics such as circular economy, globalization, and social innovation, this book is an excellent resource for researchers, economists, academicians, graduate students, policymakers and government officials, development practitioners, community leaders, and more.
