Vivek P. Chavda, MPharm, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology at the L. M. College of Pharmacy, India. Before joining academia, he served in the biologics industry for almost eight years in research and development with two successful regulatory filings at Lupin Biotech (Pune) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratory (Hyderabad). He has to his credit more than 250 national and international publications, including book chapters, books, as well as numerous newsletter articles. He also has seven patents in progress. His research interests include development of biologics processes and formulations, medical device development, nano-diagnostics, long-acting parenteral formulations, and nano-vaccines. He has been listed among the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University, USA, for 2023 and 2024.
