This book provides an excellent summary of the current literature on advances in the treatment of pain associated with HIV. Although a number of books address HIV/AIDS or pain management, Chronic Pain and HIV: A Practical Approach achieves the objective of addressing pain management in the context of patients with HIV...I believe this book should be required reading for every pain physician, researcher, resident, certainly every medical student, and even patients with HIV-related pain.
