Mohammed Balfaqih received the Ph.D. degree in electrical, electronics, and systems engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer and Network Engineering, University of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He has published several journals and conference papers and patents. His principal research interests include wireless communication, mobility management, the IoT, and artificial intelligence. Akram A. Almohammedi earned his PhD in Wireless Communications and Networks Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Karabuk University, Turkey. He worked as a Senior Researcher at South Ural State University in Russia from 2020 to 2023. Akram has a strong academic background with extensive experience in teaching, research, and supervision at the international level. In 2018, he received the Best Paper Award in Malaysia from IEEE ComSoc/VTS for the paper, “An Adaptive Multi-Channel Assignment and Coordination Scheme for IEEE 802.11 P/1609.4 in Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks,” published in IEEE Access. His research interests focus on wireless communication networks, Internet of Things (IoT), Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs), and machine learning applications in smart cities. He has been a member of several international collaborative research projects and serves as a reviewer for numerous international journals and conferences. Akram has published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals and numerous international conference papers. His contributions to wireless networks research continue to impact the field globally. Dr. Malek Alsmadi is a dedicated researcher and professor with a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Lakehead University, Canada, and a Master's in Communication and Computer Engineering from UKM University, Malaysia. He is currently a full-time professor at the School of Engineering Technology, Confederation College, Thunder Bay, Ontario, and an adjunct professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Lakehead University. He teaches a range of courses, including Programming, Networking, and Operating Systems. Dr. Alsmadi's research focuses on wireless communications, network security, and the impact of hardware impairments on advanced communication systems, contributing to numerous IEEE journal and conference publications. He has received several prestigious awards, including the Dean's Scholar Award and the President's International Scholarship. In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Alsmadi has extensive experience in supervising Ph.D. students, leading research teams, and writing funding proposals for organizations like NSERC and NDRIO-Portage. Dr. Alsmadi is also a Senior IEEE Member, recognized for his significant contributions to the field of communication systems, and actively participates in various IEEE societies and technical program committees.
