Aleksandra Zając is a social scientist specialising in security studies. She holds master degrees in International Relations and in Philosophy. She earned her PhD in 2019 based on a dissertation about customer orientation and improvement of services of the Polish Police. From 2016 until 2021 she worked as an Assistant Professor at the State University of Applied Sciences in Racibórz, Poland, teaching both security professionals (policemen, prison and border guards, soldiers) and civilians. From 2022 to 2024 she worked as Researcher at the American Institute of Applied Sciences in Switzerland, building research capacities of the school. In May 2024 she became Chancellor of Swiss Institute of Management and Sciences. Beyond academia her professional experience include Anti Money-Laundering and paralegal services for business. She also served as United Nation Junior Legal Expert on Poland (2021). Giuseppe Catenazzo is the Head of Research & Adjunct Lecturer at AUS American Institute of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. He also teaches Market Research & Consumer Behaviour, Economics & Management, Operations Management and Statistics at several institutions in Switzerland. Giuseppe is an Italian and Swiss citizen. He studied in France, Italy, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom and speaks several languages. Dr Catenazzo is also an editor of international research books; his research on quality perceptions, service recovery, and complaining behavior has been published in Production Planning and Control, International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management, and the Journal of Consumer Satisfaction, Dissatisfaction & Complaining Behavior. Emmanuel Fragnière , CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), is a professor of service science at the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland – HEG Valais. His research focuses on the development of risk management models for decision-makers in the service sector. He has published several papers in academic journals, including Environmental Modelling and Assessment, Interfaces, Management Science and Service Science. He is the co-author (with George Sullivan) of the book Risk Management: Safeguarding Company Assets (Fifty-Minute Crisp Series, November 2006).
