Research ethics have moved to the forefront of academic debate, reshaped by rapid social and technological change. Developments such as artificial intelligence (AI), plagiarism, and growing scientific misconduct are transforming how research is designed, conducted, and evaluated, raising new ethical challenges alongside long-standing principles. In an era of evolving ethical challenges, it is essential to explore how contemporary researchers can navigate this landscape with critical insight into emerging dilemmas while grounding discussion in established ethical frameworks. Cases on Research Ethics explores both historical cases and current issues within research ethics that are plaguing the scholarly community. It provides an opportunity to engage with the ethical issues that arise in real research contexts. Covering topics such as contemporary research ethics, animal research, and plagiarism, the book uses real-world case studies to encourage discussion, reflection, and consensus-building. It is an essential resource for academicians, educators, policymakers, and researchers seeking to move from dependent students to independent scholars.
