Darryl H. Wilson grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from Belmont University (BA, 1982) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv/CE, 1985 and EdD, 2003). He began teaching Sunday school at age nineteen and responded to the call to ministry at age twenty-one. He served on staff with four Kentucky churches and one in South Carolina.Since 1997, Darryl has served the Lord and the twenty-four hundred churches of the Kentucky Baptist Convention with a focus on Sunday School, small groups, and discipleship. He began the Sunday School Revolutionary Blog in 2006. That led to publishing Disciple-Making Encounters: Revolutionary Sunday School in 2017. Darryl is married to Yvonne. They have two sons and six grandchildren. For fun, he enjoys reading, golf, chess, and traveling.
