"Robin Lao is the founder of HR Club Inc. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin. Robin has served as an MIS Manager for Canadian Tire Corporation, responsible for the development and support of its in-house HR and payroll system. Robin co-founded the CHRSP (Canadian Human Resource System Professionals) in 1986. He served as its first president and director for three years. In 2001, HRIS Consultants Ltd. developed a payroll software for small businesses named ""WinTax."" In 2012, a free online payroll calculator version was developed. This calculator is still being used by thousands of users. The first-hand experience gained by Robin over 35 years in HR and payroll, particularly with the development and support of the WinTax payroll software, is the basis for the contents of this book."
