Can A Woman Preach?
Discover the transformative exploration of women's roles in ministry with Joseph Brice's thought-provoking book, ""Can A Woman Preach?""
Before you were ever defined by gender or human limitations, God knew you before you were formed in your mother's womb. He breathed life into you, and gave you purpose beyond societal constraints. Yet, throughout history, religious traditions have sought to silence half of God's creation, restricting women from preaching the very gospel that sets us free.
If women were never meant to lead or teach, why does Paul commend Phoebe as a diakonos-a servant, a deacon-of the church? Why would God pour out His Spirit on all flesh, as prophesied in Joel?
If we claim women cannot preach because they must not ""usurp authority over men,"" then should they also be barred from teaching, leading, or holding any position of influence in society? Should female judges, teachers, CEOs, doctors, and world leaders step aside? Even women with social media followings are, in essence, operating as teachers and influencers (pastors/ shepherds). If God didn't intend for women to lead, why would He entrust them with His Spirit and His message?
The Pharisees refused to let Gentiles preach, teach or even touch God's word, just as many today refuse to let women preach. Yet, both were redeemed through Christ. If God didn't want women proclaiming His Word, why would He put His WORD in a woman, formed as the baby Jesus, whom she nurtured, taught, protected and raised, also anointed her and Jospeh both to do so? Is it truly God restricting women, or is it human tradition?
Imagine standing before God on Judgment Day, realizing you blocked souls from salvation simply because of gender. If preaching brings life and spreads the gospel, why would God reject the very vessel He has chosen? The enemy understands the power of a woman's voice-he targeted Eve in the beginning, and he is targeting women now. This is more than tradition; this is a spiritual battle.
Will you silence those whom God has called? Will you stand among the religious leaders who condemned Jesus because they couldn't accept that God would work through someone so humble, so far from power and prestige? Or will you be like the Pharisees in Acts, who devoted themselves to destroying the early church-blind to the undeniable move of God, justifying their opposition even as lives were being saved and transformed?
The question is not whether God calls women-it's whether we will dare to stand in His way.
It's time to break free from outdated traditions and embrace the truth of God's grace. We are at war! We are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12 God has made us the head and not the tail, above-only, and not beneath."" Do not allow the enemy to make a ""Tail"" out of you in these last and evil days!
WHEN GOD ANOINTS, HE EQUIPS; WHEN HE EQUIPS...HE EMPOWERS! Woman of God, fighting for your Right to preach is just one of your ""Kingdom Rights;"" having authority over the enemy is another.
Can a Woman Preach? Yes, she can-boldly and unapologetically-if God has called and anointed her to advance His kingdom.
Know this and understand: God is your Father. You are His daughter, a citizen of His Kingdom, and a joint heir with Jesus Christ. You are not a bystander-you are an owner in His Kingdom. It's time to rise, walk in your divine authority, and represent your Father's house with confidence and power!
THE LORD OUR GOD ASKED, ""WHOM SHALL I SEND?"" WOMAN OF GOD, I CHALLENGE YOU TO ANSWER HIM, ""HERE AM I...LORD SEND ME!"" ISAIAH 6:8
