With *Bytchcraft* launching in print in June 2025, Aaron invites readers into a world of wit, wonder, and unforgettable characters. Lema Carril was born in A Coruña, Galicia, Spain. He spent his childhood in Finisterre. After some time without direction, Lema was told by a friend about a comic book school in Barcelona, where he studied for four years. At the end of his studies, he went out on the job hunt without much luck at first, but eventually, Luis from the Butxido Agency offered to represent him. Following some more development and hard work, he had the opportunity to come on board as the artist for Bytchcraft, published by Mad Cave Studios, with Aaron Reese as the writer. This project marks his debut as a professional artist!
""I am so incredibly proud of the pure magic Aaron put into Bytchcraft. It's everything he wanted it to be - a story that is an unapologetic celebration of queerness, Blackness, friendship, and opulence as only he could express. Aaron worked tirelessly on this project. His dedication to getting his story out into the world speaks to his resilience and pride in his voice. I hope all who read Bytchcraft can appreciate my friend's efforts, but more than anything, I hope they are inspired to tell their own stories exactly how they wish to tell them. Aaron did exactly that, and I can't help but be thankful that this beautiful, unique piece of work is part of his legacy."" --Stephanie Williams ""Writer of Nubia & The Amazons"" ""Black, queer, colorful, vibrant, what's not to love about Bytchraft?""--Khalid Johnson ""The Comics Beat""
