"""Burning Passion - Fu Baoshi's Art and Life "" takes readers on a profound journey into the inner world of one of China's most exceptional artists and scholars, Fu Baoshi. His artistic achievements have profoundly impacted modern Chinese landscape painting, serving as a guiding light for generations of artists. The author, Pang Hui, is a respected Chinese art researcher and connoisseur, and this book delves deep into Fu Baoshi's life, works, and artistic philosophy. The distinct ecological environment and his deep-rooted reverence for traditional culture culminated in captivating new artistic expressions. Pang Hui succinctly captures Fu Baoshi's creative approach in just 32 words: The brush fights with the sword, Searching for every strange peak;

Free and easy, Letting fortune guide the way;

The breath is in the idea, The idea is in the stroke;

Boldly laying down the brush, Carefully tidying up!
