In an increasingly digital world, early childhood education plays a key role in laying the foundation for lifelong learning and responsible technology use. Building digital literacy at a young age goes beyond teaching children how to use devices; it involves helping them develop skills such as critical thinking, communication, and safe online behavior. When integrated into early learning environments, digital tools can support cognitive development and promote equity by expanding access to information and learning opportunities. Establishing strong digital literacy in early childhood ensures that children are not only prepared to navigate technology. Building Digital Literacy in Early Childhood Education explores the way teaching practices have been transformed by digital technology. It examines the emergence of digital pedagogy and the use of these tools in early childhood education. Covering topics such as educational tools, digital literacy, and early childhood education, this book is an excellent resource for educators, educational institutions, technology developers, academicians, and graduate students.
