Advances in nanomaterial innovation are reshaping the fields of water engineering, treatment, and hydraulics, offering solutions to some of the world's most pressing water challenges. Nanostructured membranes, nanoparticles, and nano-engineered surfaces are enhancing filtration efficiency, and hydraulic performance at unprecedented scales. These technologies enable more effective wastewater reuse and pollution mitigation while reducing energy consumption and operational costs. As water scarcity and climate-driven extremes intensify, the integration of nanomaterials into water systems represents a transformative step toward more resilient, efficient, and sustainable water management. Breakthroughs in Water Engineering, Treatment, and Hydraulics Through Nanomaterial Innovation explores the advancements of nanomaterials in water engineering and energy consumption. It examines the ways nanomaterials can aid hydraulics and water treatment. Covering topics such as sustainability, nanomaterials, and water engineering, this book is an excellent resource for engineers, industry professionals, policy makers, government officials, researchers, and graduate students.
