Ryan I. Logan is assistant professor of anthropology at California State University, Stanislaus.
Ryan Logan has made a profound contribution to the CHW literature. This book will be a valuable read both for leaders on the front lines of workforce development, research and policy change, and for the many folks who are still somehow unaware of the true nature of this amazing profession. After 25 years working with and for CHWs, I personally am still peeling back layers of the onion, and constantly rewarded by my interaction with CHWs, and itβs clear to me that Ryan is captivated by the same process. -- Carl H.
