This is Pushcart Prize nomination poetry. They are travelling poems which, themselves, adventure and explore, like rock climbers or spelunkers in underground caves. They don't just talk about it or describe what's going on. They do. The poems are active. They actively scramble and scamper, tumble around like mountain goats, ha ha. The poems are not spectators, they are very active participants. No sitting on the side line. They're like a map that includes that little tag in day-glo orange that says ""you are here!"" I often think of my poems as ""the raw feed,"" from elsewhere, the other side, the celestial, and below ground, the magma, coming from ""the source"" - inner, such as the subconscious mind - but universal, as it, the subconscious mind is also connected to the outer realms, worlds, as well. Yes, the poems both astral travel and are, embody and are embodying, astral travel itself! Then, will out travel and also I there, I report back on what it is, all of what I experience and what I see, what I find. Best Is I'm pretty fearless, which the poems mimic, and I also have lotsa fun, which the reader can ""come out to play,"" and join me in!
