The 2nd (second) in a series of 4 (four) books, BOOK 2: Architecture for Autism and Anxiety defines the attributes of Anxiety then provides specific architectural design responses for the creation of highly considered built environments for people with Autism and Anxiety. Using a novel method developed by the author, the diagnostic criteria for Anxiety from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, Text Revision (DSM-5 TR, 2022) are paraphrased and symbolically represented as land lots within an architectural plan geometry. As the Architecture for Autism series unravels, the geometry created for Autism is accompanied by Panic, Intellectual Disability, Depression, and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder to provide more specified design responses that consider the complexity and spectrum of Autism. The sum of the author's work culminates in a unified architectural site plan geometry worth consideration now and far into the future.
