Dr. Bijay Kumar Behera is the Dean, College of Fisheries, Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi, India. Dr. Behera has more than 20 years of research experience in the field of fish biotechnology, microbiology, bioinformatics, and nano-biosensor technology. He has received Australian Government-Endeavour Award, Japanese Government-Mombusho MEXT Fellowship, Prof. Har Swarup Award, Krushak Pratibha Award, Scientist of the Year Award, Dr. Hiralal Choudhury Award, Best Scientist Award, and Dr. M.S Swaminathan Best Indian Fisheries Scientist Award. He is also a Fellow of Zoological Society of India and Inland Fisheries Society of India.
