Biodynamics of Osteopathy: Phase Eight is the eighth in a series of twelve hardback editions. As each volume builds upon the understanding established in the previous ones, it is recommended that the series be read in sequential order. Please note that a prior fundamental knowledge of osteopathy is assumed.

Phase Eight is a deeper exploration of seams, balanced rhythmic interchange, and the Flame of Intention as a therapeutic modality. Phase Eight is the culmination of our awareness of Wholeness, and ultimately brings us to the Divine Presence, Unconditional Love and Oneness. The living Tide dominates the awareness while forms move to the background. One feels the Breath of Creation in oneself as the Center of Wholeness. One feels the Unfoldment of oneself as one is Created. Our consciousness is a gift; we do not own it and if we try to control it we lose Wholeness.

About the Author James Jealous, D.O. (1943-2021), was a renowned osteopathic physician, teacher, and author. His life's work was the founding and development of Biodynamics of Osteopathy, a unique methodology that follows the lineage of Dr. A.T. Still and Dr. W.G. Sutherland. Dr. Jealous was a 1970 graduate of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (now A.T. Still University). He was inspired by the parallels he saw between the embryological research of Dr. Erich Blechschmidt and the osteopathic insights of Dr. William Sutherland to create his own distinct body of work.
