America is in trouble. How much and for how long remains to be seen. Christians living inside its borders face a challenge to follow Jesus and find their place in the body of Christ. Jeremiah faced a similar time. His people and the nations around them had lost their way. God used Jeremiah to send word to Judah and to all nations. Filled with much angst, Jeremiah spoke the words he was commanded to speak. Mixed with words of judgment were words of hope. Hope that only God will bring. This book seeks to call the church to that hope. To let go of any other allegiance, especially to America, and seek first the kingdom of God. This book explores one possible history of America. A history of self-government. A history without a King. A history where everyone does what is right in his or her own eyes. That history is drawing to a close. It is time to welcome the King and his kingdom.
