Ann Dale is an authority in regenerative sustainable community development. In addition to her Canada Research Chair, she is a Trudeau Fellow alumna and a member of the World Academy of Arts and Science. She is a professor emerita at Royal Roads University, and remains an active researcher, now leading a large research team looking at governance arrangements for a post-carbon society. She is also recognized as a leader in the environmental movement and has been featured in several national lists, including Canada's Most Powerful Women in 2016.
