AUTHORS: David Freedman was born and educated in Melbourne, studying medicine and becoming a general surgeon. After a 45 year career he retired and now pursues a lifelong passion for art.
Richard Steele was born and educated in Melbourne, moving to a lifelong career as a teacher and school principal. Richard has a passionate interest in birds and has travelled to every art of Australia. After a 50 year separation, Richard reunited with his step-brother David Freedman to produce the joint project Australia's Birds.
