Evangeline Adams (1868-1932) was a prominent astrologer born in New Jersey, USA. She ran her own astrological consultancy and successfully defended her practice in court in 1914. Adams is commonly regarded as the mother of American astrology, due to the large hand she played in the social acceptance of the practice.
