Bunny Banyai is a freelance writer, and contributor to The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Guardian. Born and raised in Melbourne to a Hungarian father and Russian mother, Bunny spent her childhood rejecting almost all of her mother’s cooking, meatballs being one of the few exceptions. She is the author of three books for Hardie Grant – Shit On My Hands (a down-and-dirty guide to parenting), 100 Aussie Things We Know and Love and Anxious Girls Do It Better. Around the World in 80 Meatballs is Bunny’s first foray into food writing, inspired by her intercultural love affair with the universally beloved, globe-trotting meatball.
