Lori Brecto recently retired after 31 years of NICU nursing. She began her career at United Hospital (now Altru) in Grand Forks, ND. She then worked at Phoenix Children's Hospital and most recently cared for babies in the Honor Health Shea NICU in Scottsdale, AZ. She enjoys the outdoors...hiking and biking, and looks forward to traveling and spending more time with her grandchildren now that she's retired. She and her husband, Todd, split their time between their beach home in Rocky Point, Mexico and their mountain cabin in Forest Lakes, AZ. Penny Weber is a full-time artist and illustrator based in Long Island, New York.As a child she taught herself to use colored pencils and watercolors. Recently she has taught herself how to use photoshop. Penny attended classes at the School of Visual Arts in New York after which she has pursued her career as an illustrator. Penny's work over the years includes residential murals, greeting cards, portraits, caricatures and pet portraits. She creates digital illustrations that have a unique hand-drawn look. Penny has illustrated many successful children's picture books. She illustrated ""Will You Fill My Bucket? Daily Acts of Love Around the World,"" written by Carol McCloud and Karen Wells. Penny also illustrated ""I Am Unique!"" written by Jennifer Vassel.""Penny lives with her husband, three children and their very fat cat, Tiger. Linda Powers founded Powers Design in 1987 - a creative services agency specializing in graphic and web design, print management / brokering and advertising. Since then she has built this woman-owned business to include regional, national and international clients in a wide range of industries.In that time she's worked with publishing industry greats such as Ingram Spark, Book Baby, KDP Amazon, Pearson Education, Houghton Mifflin and Brown Publishing Network among others.For the last few years Linda has focused on book design and production for authors interested in self-publishing their works along with calendar design and production.
