Jean-Eric Pelet is an Associate Professor at IAE Amiens (France). He holds an MBA in Information Systems, a PhD in Management Science, and a Habilitation to Supervise Researches in Management. His current research focuses on Web3, e-commerce platform interfaces, connected objects, gamification in the wine industry and consumer behavior. His work has been published in international journals such as the European Journal of Information Systems, Systèmes d’Information et Management, Information and Management, Review of Managerial Science, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, International Journal of Wine and Business Research and others. He is the author of several academic and professional books focusing on digital technologies, consumer behavior, user experience, and e-commerce. His recent works include User Experience in Web 2.0 Technologies and its Impact on Universities and Businesses (2020, IGI Global) and Advanced Web Applications and Progressing E-Learning 2.0 Technologies in Higher Education (2019, IGI Global), exploring the impact of Web 2.0 and e-learning in higher education. His book E-Commerce: How to Design, Build, and Manage Your Website (2018, Dunod) provides a practical guide to e-commerce, while Mobile Platforms, Design, and Apps for Social Commerce (2017, IGI Global) delves into mobile technologies for social commerce. He also co-authored Handbook of Research on User Behavior in Ubiquitous Online Environments (2013, IGI Global) and authored M-Commerce (2014, Pearson), focusing on mobile commerce.
