Currently, I manage a counselling project within a school and have been counselling children and young people for ten years now. I also have a private practice counselling adults. I introduced Mindfulness colouring which has gained much popularity over the years to the children and some of the adults I work with as a way of alleviating anxiety. When I started learning Arabic in 2015 I decided to merge the two things together because it felt like a great way for people to familiarise themselves with the language whilst enjoying the calmness from colouring. Academically, I have an Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, a Post Graduate Cert in Communicating with Children, a Certificate in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and I am still learning Arabic.
