Dr Prasanta Mandal is a senior Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. He completed his PhD from IIT Bombay in 2008 in the field experimental condensed matter physics with specialization on the optical properties of semiconductor nanostructures. His research interests include fundamental plasmonics, plasmonic near-fields and SERS/SEF detection, absorbing metamaterials, chiral plasmonic structures, plasmonic solar energy harvesting and optical lithography. Dr. B.S. Tewari is an Associate Professor of Physics in G.B.Pant Institute of engineering and Technology, India. His main research interest includes the electronic properties of strongly correlated electron systems. Presently, he is involved in the study of the electronic conductance through a nanoscopic superconducting quantum dot junction and optical phenomena due to scattering of light. He has published several research papers in reputed journals and presented in conferences and workshops. Dr Prince Gupta completed his M.Sc. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2010, with specialization in Laser Physics. Subsequently he completed his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 2017 in the fields of photonics and nanoplasmonics. He is a senior postdoctoral fellow at University of Burgundy-France. His research interests include plasmonic metasurfaces, plasmonic near-fields, perfect absorption, SERS/SEF, surface plasmon and molecular interaction, up-conversion luminescence, biosensing, radiative cooling, on-chip thermal emitters, plasmonic arithmetic and logic gates based all optical processors, solar energy harvesting.
