Boyun Guo is a Professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the Petroleum Engineering Department and Director of the Center for Optimization of Petroleum Systems (COPS) of the Energy Institute of Louisiana (EIL). He has 40 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry and academia. He is the principal author of 11 books and author/coauthor of over 150 research papers. He holds a BS degree in Engineering Science from Daqing Petroleum Institute in China, MS degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology, and a PhD degree in Petroleum Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Yingfeng Meng is a Professor at the Southwest Petroleum University in China where he earned his PhD degree in Engineering Science. He is a pioneer researcher in gas drilling, underbalanced drilling, and managed pressure drilling in China, and also an expert in reservoir damage control. He is the Director of the Underbalanced Drilling Research Lab of the National Engineering Laboratory of Oil and Gas Drilling Technology in China. Na Wei is a Professor at the Southwest Petroleum University, Dean of the Research Institute of Marine Natural Gas Hydrate, a researcher in the State Key Laboratory of Oil and Gas Reservoir Geology and Exploitation Engineering, and Executive Director of the Cooperative Innovation Center of Marine Natural Gas Hydrate Development. She is an expert in controlled-pressure drilling and gas-underbalanced drilling. She is the principal author of 9 books and author/coauthor of more than 60 research papers.
