Dr. Surender Kumar Sharma is an Associate Professor in Physics at the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, India. Prior to joining his current university, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Department of Physics, Federal University of Maranhao, Brazil. He has received his Ph.D. in Physics with specialization in Materials Science from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, India in collaboration with Inter University of Accelerator Centre, New Delhi. He received the FAPEMA Senior researcher award in 2015. His research interests include magnetic nanohybrids, luminescent nanomaterials, their synthesis, characterization and utilization in magnetic and biomedical applications. Dr. Sonia Malik is a senior researcher at LBLGC, University of Orleans, France. After holding various research positions at Brazil, Czech Republic and Australia, she joined University of Orleans, France, as a Senior Researcher. Her research work is focused on enhanced and sustainable production of bioactive compounds from plants using different biotechnological approaches. She publishes regularly in peer-reviewed journals, and has served as a journals special issue and book editor on topics related to her area of expertise. She is the editorial board member and reviewer of many International scientific journals including Protoplasma, The Journal of Horticultural Science and Biotechnology, New Forests. She has visited many world leading cross-disciplinary research and teaching Institutions as a visiting researcher.
