The application of nanomaterials in oncology represents a new frontier in cancer diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. Due to their unique physicochemical properties, nanomaterials can be engineered to target cancer cells with high precision while minimizing damage to healthy tissues. These materials develop advanced drug delivery systems, imaging agents, and platforms that combine therapy and diagnostics. From nanoparticles for therapy to carriers for targeted chemotherapy, nanotechnology offers promising solutions to overcome limitations of traditional cancer treatments, improving patient outcomes and quality of life. Applications of Nanomaterials for Oncology explores therapeutic advancements for cancer and examine the synergistic effects offered by the various nanostructured materials. It examines the current developments and upcoming obstacles that nanotechnology encounters in creating more effective nanoformulations to combat primary tumors, circulating cancer cells, and metastases. This book covers topics such as nanoparticles, machine learning, and materials science, and is a useful resource for medical and healthcare professionals, engineers, academicians, researchers, and scientists.
