An encounter with Jesus at 17 years old shifted Jesse's focus from the tennis court to the church. He turned down several college tennis scholarship offers to pursue ministry and started leading a young adult group at 19 years old. While there have been lots of twists and turns, he has been preaching the Gospel in a variety of contexts since he was called into the ministry during his senior year of high school. He likes good coffee, good jokes and seeing people's eyes opened to the Gospel for the first time. He grew up just outside Detroit and earned a Biblical Studies degree from Rochester University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. After working as a youth pastor and grief counselor in Metro Detroit for about a decade, he now serves as a staff pastor at Harvest Ridge Church in North Ridgeville, Ohio. Jesse enjoys serving the local church, preaching the Gospel, and training believers to share Jesus with confidence. He and his wife, Rachel, have five children and live in North Ridgeville, Ohio, just a few minutes from their church.Stay connected with Jesse at anyonecanevangelize.com
