John Paul (JP) Phaup served as managing director-investments with Wells Fargo Advisors in McLean, Virginia, where he focused on wealth management for twenty-eight years. Over the course of his career, he has worked with a wide range of clients and conducted hundreds of seminars and lectures on financial planning and executive wealth management for the public, corporations, and government agencies. Phaup also served as chairman of the investment committee for the George Mason University Foundation and was an adjunct professor of finance at George Mason University. In 2009, he was honored as Mason's Alumnus of the Year. He earned his BA in public affairs from the University of Southern California and his MBA from George Mason University. He and his wife live in Tysons Corner, Virginia. His is also the author of Agencies of Cash Flow: How to Raise and Invest Long-Term Money for Foundations and Endowments (2021).
